ROGUE RIDER

Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues-and falls for-a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name. Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust. But with hints of a troubling history of his own, he’s also the kind of man who can be very dangerous . . .

Reseph may not know why he mysteriously appeared in Jillian’s life, but he knows he wants to stay. Yet when Jillian’s neighbors are killed, and demon hunters arrive on the scene, Reseph fears that he’s putting Jillian in danger. And once it’s revealed that Reseph is also Pestilence, the Horseman responsible for ravaging the world, he and Jillian must face the greatest challenge of all: Can they forget the horrors of a chilling past to save the future they both desire?

Southern Magic Readers Luncheon by Alicia Coleman

The Southern Magic Readers Luncheon was a great event.   My mother and I attended.  We arrived early to get our swag bag.  We moved to another area to await entrance to the hall where the Luncheon was held.

Readers were encourage to sit at the table with their favorite authors.  My mom and I sat at the table with  my fellow members of Southern Magic and published authors, Kerry Freeman and Fred Arceneaux.  Many door prizes and baskets were awarded to  registrants and raffle ticket holders.  The meal was served as  Milestone  and recognitions were award to such authors as Christy Reece/Ella Grace, Naima Simone, Jennifer Echols, Kathy Bone, M. V. Freeman, Kira Sinclair, Kerry Freeman, Bonnie Gardner, Debra Glass, Suzanne Johnson, Debby Giusti and Susan Carlisle.

New York Times Best-Selling Author, Dianna Love was the  Welcome Speaker.  She spoke on her life before writing. She also spoke about authors Ernest Hemingway and Emily Bronte receiving bad review on their work, but persevered to become highly respected writers.  Ms Love also introduced the Keynote Speaker.

Sherrilyn Kenyon, New York Times Best-Selling Author, took the podium.  She used her life as an example of life’s adversities and advised all-readers and writers alike-to never give up on your dreams.

Publisher’s Weekly Contributing Editor, Barbara Vey and Lou Anders of Pyr Books were special guests.

The Luncheon ended with book signings.  Approximately 38 authors participated.  The Luncheon was held Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Birmingham, Alabama at the Harbert Center.
